“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. 3And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5
It is because of this faithful and fervent love in Christ coupled with many prayers and the work of the Lord’s saints, that Hope for the Hopeless is honored to announce the arrival of the bus.
For almost two years we operated under the difficult situation of using a taxi service to transport our children to school 25 miles one way. Not only was this endeavor a costly expense but not the ideal in safety for our children. During this time of “waiting” on the Lord, the children, the staff and board prayed earnestly for an answer. That answer came with the blessings of Children’s Hope Chest and many others who worked towards the goal of providing safe transportation for our children.
The bus is strong and arrived after being held in customs for several months, in wonderful condition with 25 chairs to accommodate the children. It is difficult to paint a picture of pure joy with mere words. There were shouts, dancing and a few shed tears upon its arrival in Sululta!
Thank you donors, Children’s Hope Chest, and faithful families who made this dream a reality. You are truly the hands and feet of Christ! It is because of your obedience in Christ that hope has not disappointed us, for God has truly poured out his love!
